Straighten up your own act before whining about the world, or if thats too much wear a blindfold, zip your mouth, and live in a cave. ~Masamune Shiro "Major Motoko Kusanagi"
It's definitely fun and relaxing. Makes me happy even if they don't look quite how I try to make them. I'd be stressed beyond belief if my writing came out as differently from what I meant to do as my artwork does
*blush* I haven't been doing them long. This is my third, actually. The first was Kakashi's apartment building from outside and the second was a sunflower to brighten Moiya's day I wanted to brighten yours as well, so I'm glad you liked it This one seemed fitting.
Thank you. I never even thought that people who weren't already on my friend list here would be looking at my doodlings. I'm just starting, but it's wonderfully relaxing and *does* give a nice sense of accomplishment when they're complete, even when they aren't entirely what I tried to do. It's my third watercolor and I'm excited to be picking things up as I go along
wow. You're making me feel good about this, lol. I don't really do a lot of art. I always felt that since I can't really draw people well that I didn't have much artistic talent/ability. But painting (especially this style) seems to work, because the brush does a *lot* of the work for me, and it's sort of minimalist a bit, so the details needed for some other types of more realistic art aren't dragging me down and detracting from things. I'm also learning that maybe I just need practice and to learn the correct way to do things and then even people won't be so difficult.

Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes. Please read this article for more information on how you can participate!

This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
